When Gareth and Rebecca arrived the next day from school, they were surprised yet happy to see us already there.
It was a day away from the twins' and Rebecca's birthday so Dave hurriedly potty trained the twins and taught them other things they needed to learn before aging up.
Rebecca told her father about everything they went through while we were out and she was very proud to take my place.
But then I knew it was too good to last for long. I can see now that they're relieved that we finally get to do the household chores and take care of the kids as usual.
The day finally arrived and the twins needed to face another stage in their lives. I decided to throw a birthday party for them. I invited in-laws, friends, and some neighbors to celebrate with us.
Uncle Gareth went and brought Maxine to her birthday cake.
He helped her blow out the candles.
Then it was time to age up.
I hurriedly picked up Madeline and brought her to her cake as well.
She was so anxious on blowing her candles.
After blowing their cakes, my lovely daughters grew into beautiful young children.
Here's Maxine. She looked more a lot like her father now.
And here's Madeline, which I think was a combination of several people in the family.
Rebecca couldn't wait for her turn as well. She was very excited to finally become a teenager.
We all cheered as she though of her birthday wish and blew the candles out.
Finally, here's Rebecca as a teen. She's like a female version of our dad, except for the blond hair and very fair complexion.
