It's been three weeks since Mortimer moved in to our legacy house. As I was enjoying his company, I woke up one day with a sudden bump. That means I'm going to have a child of my own! I'm so excited.
I've been spending so much time with my little sister Rebecca for these past few days since I should know what it's like to take care of a child. And I seem to be enjoying it.
Mortimer was also excited for me. He wanted to buy strollers and stuff for the baby.
While I was tending the garden, my water broke all of a sudden. Mortimer rushed me to the hospital.
To our surprise, I delivered TWO beautiful girls.
We only had one stroller prepared though. So Mortimer went to buy extra furniture for the twins and have their room ready.
Here's Maxine and Madeline in their lovely cribs.
My dad, Dave, was a very proud grandfather. He wanted to hold the babies at once when they arrived. Mortimer and Dave took turns on feeding and giving them attention since then.
Gareth was also a very happy uncle. He introduced himself to the twins at once.
And so, there's double addition to the family. I needed to double my efforts too because I want to give my twins the best future.
An old relative sent special gifts for the twins which we received on the mail the next morning they were born. Maxine and Madeline seemed to like their company.
Here's my very supportive mother, Serena, who was always up talking to the twins.
Gareth's big day also came. It was odd that Dmitri invited him. All this time, I didn't know he had feelings for my little bro. He was somewhat disgusted but the night turned out pretty well.
Gareth unexpectedly became the prom king! Here's a souvenir.
